Waldorf Science Project: Plant Cell
One requirement I make for my children is to drink alot of chlorophyll-or eat it. Green leafy vegetables or a healthy green drink like wheat grass or barley grass. This science project I did with my 13 year old, we created a plant cell and for the green chloroplasts we used actual chlorophyll drops that I put in their water. It was very exciting for them to make that connection. Natural Waldorf clay and watercolor paints from Germany, copper pipe cleaner, wool yarn for the golgi body and a wood ball in the center of the nucleus. I hope you are enjoying your science projects with your children!
