My family and i always take long walks through Ann Arbor...one quickly gets the sense of why it was named after the latin word for tree. Its an old unique city with lots of history and soul. On our most recent walk we noticed mammoth trees that overshadowed houses like the ones we see in Portland Oregon. We saw lots of homes that did not treat their lawns with pesticide and an old house with a huge peace sign. One thing i like about the cith is how people line the sidewalks with fragrant flowers...every step is a walk through heaven..the sights and smells are helped along with music my mom always brings classical music with us. Last week we listened to Beethovens ninth while strolling around the passageways of the city. No wonder why it was voted one of the top places to live!
