So proud of my soon to be 8 year old- he will be turning 8 on the summer solstice. I picked him these flowers for his birthday-and he put them in a vase and drew them with his block crayons- I am just really impressed with his eye for color and form already. He is starting to understand concepts of darkness, light and shadow...had to share this masterpiece with you : ) Aurore

Well happy birthday to your little man! :D He is amazing, Aurore - there is so much talent in your family - his art skills, your daughter's voice, your eldest son's music gifts. I think George Sands would be proud :D You're doing an amazing job!!!!

p.s. Did you ever see "Impromptu"????
Hello Jen- I am just getting this now! You know I have been so behind...my husband and I have been spending alot of time with our children and I have been finishing school. Thank you for this kind comment....yes, I did see Impromptu- but I dislike the fact that Hugh Grant played Chopin- there is a better movie in French- you need to see it...I think Juliette Binoche plays George...
